Lash Lifts what You need to know

Are you interested in getting a Lash lift but a little unsure about the process and what is actually involved, below we have all the questions you may be asking yourself.

What is a lash lift?

Lash lifts are a semi permanent enhancement of the lashes that creates an illusion of curled, longer lashes. Lash lifts are a great low maintenance alternative to eyelash extensions and they have long lasting results.

Can anyone have Lash lifts?

Yes, anyone can have a lash lift. It is perfect for those clients who are satisfied with their natural length but are looking for a semi permanent mascara look.

How long does a Lash lift take?

A Lash lift can take anywhere from 30 - 40 mins depending on the condition of the clients natural lashes and whether the client is wanting a lash tint as well.

Will it damage my natural lashes? No, a certified and trained Lash Lift specialist will perform the procedure with proper care and technique.

What is the maintenance involved with a lash lift?

Lash lifts require very little maintenance and is perfect for anyone that doesn't have time for regular upkeep that you can get with lash extensions. The Elleebana Lash Lift will last 6-8 weeks, depending on your lash cycle. Please note that lash serums, biotin, and/or medication(s) can affect the lash cycle, resulting in quicker lash shedding.

Can mascara be applied after a lash lift?

You'll need to allow at least 24 hours before applying any product to your lashes; after 24 hours applying any make up products including mascara, eyeliner, eye shadow and makeup removers will not affect your lash lift.

Whats the Elleebana process like?

The process is very similar to eyelash extensions. Your bottom lashes are covered with a non-stick tape, this is to protect your lower lashes from being affected by the lifting process. Your eyes are to remain closed during the entire process. A silicone rod suited to your lash length is placed on top of the eyelid. It is important to get the correct size rod in order to get the best result. Once the size is determined; the rod is placed onto the eyelid and a lash glue (water-soluble) is used to push the natural lashes back onto the rod - a lash setting solution is applied for 5-7 minutes on both sides. The setting solution then gets removed with a micro swab and the lash neutralizer solution is applied on both sides for 5 minutes.
