WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?

At Raor Studio we want you to feel like you have come to your happy place, our goal is to deliver Confidence no matter which side you are coming to (Beauty or Fitness) We strive to make everyone feel a part of our Good Vibe Tribe and We don't care what your turn up in, what you look like or how fit (or unfit) you are- we just want you to leave with a big smile!

We cater to all ages, genders and fitness levels. The hardest part is choosing which awesome session you want to try first, the rest is easy and we promise you will have fun! 

Our advice for newbies to fitness is bring a friend along with you to try a class, no need to book just turn up 10mins before the session starts and we will walk you through what to expect. Be sure to bring a drink bottle and hand towel, it does get pretty stuffy in there! If you are bringing your kiddies pack some snacks and entertainment to buy you that hour ( Please note there is no childcare available, you are responsible for your child's safety while in the facility and must abide by our rules and legal requirements)

Our Squad is a tight knit supportive group, that have overcome many personal challenges and continue to strive pushing themselves towards better health and wellness. Standard Members can attend 3 sessions per week, Ultimate is unlimited Sessions.

ALL Casual & Concession Card holders can attend ANY class.

Strength

Build core strength and tone via our Circuit based sessions

This class is suitable for all fitness levels, with a strong focus on improving technique and getting those foundation skills down we set the timer and you work at your own pace.

The class structures vary between Trainers, traditionally there will be a warm up, focus on technique then the main component of the workout explained/ performed followed by a cool down/ stretching.

We love to keep variety in the structure of our classes and exercises to keep you motivated, pushing you out of your comfort zone to get those gains. The exercises are designed to be an all over body workout which can be adapted for injuries and strength levels. Mum & Bub friendly.

Intensity: 6-7 on scale of 1 to 10 (10 being super hard)

Sweat Factor: 7 on scale of 10 (10 being drenched)

Impact: Med- High, all moves can be modified and changed if you have an injury.

Cardio:  Medium

Flexibility: Med 

Pace: Med- High

Equipment: Hand wraps, knee sleeves, wrist straps

Suggested Attire: Active wear, shoes, hand towel and water bottle

Strength Online

Workout from the comfort of your home!

These sessions are available via Zoom conferencing- links will be posted into our Raor Vibe Tribe and are suitable for all fitness levels!

These Strength sessions are 30mins in total, be warmed up and ready to jump into a fun, fast-paced session.

We love to keep variety so we will alter the structure from EMOM (Every Minute On the Minute), Tabata or short AMRAP (As Many Rounds As Possible) bursts. 

Round up any weights you have around the house but no worries if you don't have any- we can give you body weight variations that will still give you great results.

Handy Equipment to invest in:

A Kettlebell, Weight Plate, Dumbbells, Ankle Weights, Resistance Band- You can pick these up (Or get delivered to your door!) from Kmart.

Intensity: 6-7 on scale of 1 to 10 (10 being super hard)

Sweat Factor: 7 on scale of 10 (10 being drenched)

Impact: Med- High, all moves can be modified and changed if you have an injury.

Cardio:  Medium

Flexibility: Med 

Pace: Med- High

Equipment: Any weights you have around the house, bodyweight, or make your own!

Suggested Attire: Active wear, shoes, hand towel and water bottle

Powerband

Core and Booty focused!

This session is suitable for all fitness levels and a great beginners class. Using Resistance Bands and small weights ie: Kettlebells, Weight plates or dumb bells, and body weight movements, the trainer will guide you through a tabata styled session to keep you challenging those core muscles and glutes.

 

The Tuesday 5 pm 30 min session will be a fast paced Strength High Intensity Pace to give you a quick sweat up and great to utilize before our BoxFit session at 5.45pm

The exercises are designed to be an all over body workout which can be adapted for injuries and strength levels. Mum & Bub friendly.

Equipment: Everything is provided (it may pay to wear longer tights as the bands can rub on bare skin)

HIIT

Fast, fun!

Our HIIT classes are a fast-paced mash up of Circuit training and body weight exercises with a Tabata/ AMRAP/ interval training theme. You will walk away feeling energized and closer to achieving your fitness goals. 

Intensity: 7 on scale of 1 to 10 (10 being super hard)

Sweat Factor: 8 on scale of 10 (10 being drenched)

Impact: Med- High, all moves can be modified and changed if you have an injury.

Cardio: High

Flexibility: Med 

Pace: Med- high

Equipment: All provided

Suggested Attire: Active wear, shoes, hand towel and water bottle

BoxFit

Come try our famour Boxfit sessions!

Our Raor Punch class are fun high intensity classes that relieve stress, focus on technique and get that heart rate up!  You will pick up new boxing skills, dramatically increase your fitness levels and enjoy the benefits of being part of the Raor Squad!

Intensity: 7 on scale of 1 to 10 (10 being super hard)

Sweat Factor: 7-8 on scale of 10 (10 being drenched)

Impact: Med, You will be paired accordingly or put on the Boxing bag

Cardio: High

Flexibility: Med 

Pace: Med- High

Equipment: Hand wraps and Boxing Gloves
